HOW TO PUBLISH IN REIIC
The
Authors are requested to follow a standarised format
(the same as in most scholarly journals), which is described in the
AUTHOR'S GUIDE. There you will find the
kind of papers that are published in the journal (on empirical research, on
synthesis-review of a topic or on theorical proposals and/or methodological advances.)
Papers based on opinion, anecdotes or unjustified interpretations will not be published in
REIIC (except if the Editorial Committee considers that they have some
extraordinary interest.)
It is important
that authors fulfill the AUTHOR'S GUIDE norms adequately in order not to lose time in the review process. You
have available a self-evaluation form which may help you to check that the paper complies with the necessary
formal requirements for REIIC to accept it. Reviewers are specialists in various fields, who have been chosen by taking into account their proven level of competence in research. They are in charge of advising the Editorial Committee, which is the one that takes the final decision of accepting or not accepting a paper. It would not be possible to guarantee the journal's quality standard without their disinterested help, therefore, we are very grateful to them for their invaluable help.
In order to avoid bias and obtain a wider
view about the quality of the papers, there will always be a minimum of two reviewers for
each text, although there could be more if the Editorial Committee considers it
appropriate. It is available a reviewers' form in which an analysis of the different sections of the paper is presented. It may serve as a guide for the author or for subsequent works about concordance in the judges' assessment. Nevertheless, reviewers could always complement their suggestions or points of view in independent texts. |
PUBLICAR EN REIIC
Se
solicita que los autores se ciñan a un formato estandarizado (por lo demás, común a la
mayoría de las revistas académicas) que se describe en la GUÍA
DE AUTORES. En él se indica el tipo de artículos que se publica en la
revista ( de investigación empírica, de síntesis-revisión de un tema o de propuestas
teóricas y/o avances metodológicos). No se publicarán en REIIC
(salvo que el Comité de Redacción lo considerase de un interés extraordinario)
artículos que sean exclusivamente de opinión, anécdotas
o interpretaciones no fundamentadas.
Es importante que los autores cumplan adecuadamente
con las prescripciones de la GUÍA
DE AUTORES, a fin
de evitar pérdidas de tiempo innecesarias en el proceso de revisión. Tienen a su
disposición un formulario de autoevaluación que
convendría que rellenaran para valorar si el artículo cumple los requisitos formales
necesarios para ser aceptado por REIIC. Los revisores son personas especialistas en diversos ámbitos, seleccionados por su probado nivel de competencia en la investigación. Son los encargados de asesorar al Comité Editorial, que es el responsable último de las decisiones sobre la admisión o no de manuscritos. Sin su ayuda desinteresada no sería posible garantizar la calidad de la revista, por leo que les agradecemos muy sinceramente su inestimable ayuda.
A fin
de evitar sesgos y obtener un visión más amplia sobre la calidad de los artículos,
siempre habrá un mínimo de dos revisores
por texto, aunque ese número puede incrementarse. A fin de servir de apoyo y de hacer en su caso estudios sobre concordancia entre la valoración de los jueces, se ha puesto a su disposición un formulario de evaluación en el que se incluye un análisis de los distintos apartados de los artículos. No obstante, los revisores pueden complementar sus sugerencias o puntos de vista en textos independientes. |
